New York City Emergency Management - For those living in NYC, the site contains a disability-specific emergency plan workbook and information about advance warning systems, preparation steps, evacuation, sheltering, and more.

Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) FEMA - CERT educates individuals about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills:
